She launched her clinical career as a Registered Nurse at Keck Medicine of USC and Norris Cancer Hospital, where she specialized in the high-acuity adult oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant units. This intense, specialized environment instilled in her a lifelong commitment to providing meticulous, deeply empathetic care to patients facing complex, fragile health challenges.
Driven by a passion for advanced practice and systemic healthcare improvement, Dr. Cruz steadily advanced her education, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2016, qualifying her as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C).
She cemented her clinical authority by achieving her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2023, demonstrating an uncompromising dedication to translating cutting-edge clinical research into bedside best practices. Under the direct supervision of our Registered Nurses, our dedicated CHHAs assist patients with the essential activities of daily living, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety in the home.
